Formed in April 1978, by a number of erudite senior Masons, The Irish Royal Arch Chapter of Research No. 222 is an association of Past Kings set up to research, study, present and publish papers on the history, symbolism and antiquities of Irish Freemasonry, from an inception that pre-dates the formation of the Grand Lodge of Ireland in 1725, and includes the early working of the Higher Degrees within the Craft Lodges of Ireland.

The Irish Royal Arch Chapter of  Research is comprised of two Classes of Membership: Full Members and Corresponding Members, as defined on the HOME page of this web site.
